The Partridge Family - Six Feet Under - Sia - Breathe Me

I've always been a little upset by the fact that The Partridge Family never had an actual series finale episode. At the end of the final episode, Shirley smiled out the front door and closed it. That was all the closure we got. When I saw the finale of Six Feet Under it was amazing. I decided to create my own finale for the Partridge Family, in the style of the Six Feet Under one. The Partridge Family and Six Feet Under are without a doubt my two favorite shows ever. They are also the only two shows I've seen every episode of. Perhaps the creators of Six Feet Under were fans of the Partridge Family. First of all, the gay couple on the show is David and Keith. Both shows kind of begin with the death of the family's father. We don't know anything about the death of the Partridge Family's father except for he died six months before we meet the family in the pilot. The Partridge Family pilot ends with the bus rolling off in to the distance. In the Six Feet Under pilot the father is killed when his hearse is hit by a bus. The ending of the Six Feet Under Pilot is a bus is driving off in to the distance also. Additionally the characters on Six Feet Under can be seen a quite a few times actually watching the Partridge Family and made a few references to them. And lastly both shows possibly had the two most obnoxious(in a good way), and identifiable vehicles in TV history, The 1950s multi-colored bus and the 1970s lime green hearse.

I was in a Partridge Family cover band called the Danny Partridge Experience a few years ago (I played Danny). We were a trio: Danny, Laurie and Chris (but Chris was now female). The back-story was that there had been a terrible bus accident a few years after the last episode and Mom, Tracy and Keith were all killed. Chris was maimed by a ride cymbal and had to be given a sex change operation. Laurie saw Mom get beheaded by the organ, so she played guitar and had a strong aversion to keyboards.
