No one way is right, a good routine has both isolating and compounding movements. Easiest rule of thumb, if there is involventary contraction when weight is intentionally moved, that muscle is being worked, if after many reps you feel the burn in that muscle then you have damaged it and it will grow back bigger and stronger. It is amazing how our body works, break a bone? it repairs bigger and stronger, tear a muscle? same thing

It´s funny people are still doing curls?. There has been a lot of studies of the bicep curl, and it shows that beginners will show great gains in the first year or so. But after that the studies showed very little to none growth from the curl. Like he said in the video. If you really want to make mass and gains, you have to do compound movements. Just remember this. you will NEVER get bigger guns, if the rest of the body does not follow. No muscle group will grow alone, it has to grow together.
