@TheTallnative1 Yes. did you read all the posts thinking he says "nit"? It makes no sense to say nit. You'ed think it's obvious but apparently not.
-
@hebber1961 did u really have to explain that?
-
@hebber1961 - He's actually saying **nit** because that was the word he was going to say all along **that** is the joke. He made you think he was going to say N***er. (Hint: He's not going to chnage it to avoid offending Hedley. Cheez.)

What's up my ni? {{-_-}}
-
This is the only time in the movie where Heddy...I mean Hedley Lamarr is referred to by his first name correctly.
-
Can't you see he's a knight who says "NI!" ?
-
I love Mel Brooks...BTW Richard PRYOR helped him write this script! Can't you see the man is a "Ni !"
-
@AustinSwill Trolling skill, well played.
-
@AustinSwill You're saying it as if it were a sure thing, please show me something where an original cast member or Mel himself says it's supposed to be Nit. Because typing it either ni or nit gives off many results, none of them truly reliable.

@Dicalit .... wow... no... The funny thing about it is that he starts to say "nit" the first time. He stops himself when he sees he is talking to Bart.... The VIEWER assumes he was going to say nigger. When he grabs Headly he says nit just like he was going to the first time.
are you people dense? he's saying "NI". as in cutting himself short of saying nigger. the joke is that he repeats "ni" as if it's a word he meant to say all along.
tune in tomorrow & i'll explain how putting one foot in front of another repeated is called walking.

The funny thing isn't that he is saying ni, nit or nig ( what ever), BUT that he repeates it, in front of Hedly.
