I-55 SEMI HEAD ON CRASH-PICK UP GOES AIRBORNE & LANDS ON SEMI TRUCK (fatal)

PLAINFIELD,IL S/B I-55 NEAR ROUTE30
RED DODGE DAKOTA CROSSED OVER CENTER MEDIAN,WENT AIRBORNE & SLAMMED INTO THE WINDSHIELD OF THE SEMI...THE PICKUP TRUCK THEN SPLIT IN HALF

SADLY THE DRIVER OF THE PICK UP TRUCK DID NOT SURVIVE THIS HORRIFIC ACCIDENT
THE DRIVER OF THE SEMI WAS INJURED DUE TO FLYING GLASS

NEW CONCRETE SAFETY BARRIER WALLS ARE BEING BUILT ON I-55 IN THIS AREA TO PREVENT THIS TYPE OF ACCIDENT FROM EVER HAPPENING AGAIN...SO IF YOU ARE STUCK IN CONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC ON I-55,
BE PATIENT,BECAUSE ITS WELL WORTH THE WAIT & THOSE NEW BIG CONCRETE MEDIANS SAVE LIVES!

Very high speed,a median with a Dip and it launched It In The Air Sideways, the Pickup truck was Going So Fast,That it actually Crossed the Median and Struck the Semi in Mid Air...Look at that Semi..How Do you Think That Damage happened? Thanks For Watching

I honestly don't see how this could have been a head on collision. The headlights on the pickup are still perfectly aligned and have no damage. The rest of the pickup though does.

i thought it was a headon crash.then why is the ass end of the pickup tore off instead of the front. was he driving backasswards. i drove semi for 30yrs and seen some of the dumbest shit people in cars do.

It was Head On...The pickup truck went Airborne and the vehicle Landed Headon into the Cab of the Semi

and then rolled over

@dalejrrules881 May be the pickup turn around in mid air trying to save its driver? I feel for the truck driver of the 18 wheeler. Just the thought of a car or pickup flying thru the air coming at me at full speed, Thats way I stopped driving 18 wheelers years ago. People think they can drive and as a person who made his living driving for 15plus years All drivers are dumb.
