I have never known if the song 'Glasses' by 'Sha Na Na' is supposed to be serious with its lyrics 'How did people see in the 14th Century when no one had invented glasses?'. This is a video interpretation of the song.

Glasses were invented in the late 13th century and before that they had hand held magnifying lenses. Nice song just too bad about the content.

Bowser has such a BEAUTIFUL baritone voice! No one can compare to him. I watched the Sha Na Na show every week,and saw them twice in concert at the former Aladdin Hotel & Casino,in Las Vegas,in 1978 and 1979. Front row seats both times! I love the old Sha Na na best. Especially Johnny Contardo!!!!!!!!!!!!
