why in the WORLD do you need your elk to be castrated??!! as if little kids might be sexualy offended if some balls are hanging from an animal statue(they are taught to be like their parents were)!! logical reaction when everything is so totally TABOOED. whats left to be NATURAL in this world? how sad...

I live in Alaska and am also an Alumnus of Lakeland and Cherryland. I thought Elk Rapids was a good place to go to school when I was a kid.

I haven't seen any in the immediate vicinity, but there is an elk ranch in Central Lake nearby, and wild elk herds in the center of the lower penninsula. If you were an Elk, would you hang around Elk Rapids? :)
