The funniest and best episode/sketch ever by the best comedy ensemble/show ever. (Sorry, Monty Python, but a lot of yours is just stupid. SNL is not even worth commenting on).

Be sure to watch and listen to the end (Pt. 3) credits, this one is gold from beginning to end.

  • That would be great

i think it was a don kirschner thing

dave was past great far past

  • @aperfectrain Big Jim McBob and Billy Saul Heerock(?) were the hosts (Flaherty and Candy).

  • @MurrowSon you know what im talking about then sang sctv words to "the needle and the damage done"

flaherty yelling at neil for being out of it "you doing those qualudes ?"

  • I don't recall that one at the moment, sadly. Flaherty was always good at 'tudes like that, as in the High Earl SCTV News sketch.

"Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!!" Ha ha ha.

  • for god sakes help me find neil young blowing up real good i remember it vividly from 80

  • @aperfectrain It would be on "Rock Concert," but I'm not sure if I have the Neil Young one. I have the Amazing Kretin, and I know on the Midnight Express ep (NBC I believe) they have some blowups: Randy Newman, Helen Reddy... I'll look into it when I have more time, and we'll see.

  • "I JOINED THE FRENCH RESISTANCE...I'M A SPY!!

    ...don't tell anyone, Sam."

One of the most brilliant multiple-parodies on television- not only skewers 'Casablanca,' but 'Oz,' Hope & Crosby, Astaire & Rogers, and of course, rich, Corinthian leather. And this non-sequitur of Ilsa & Sam performing the wrong song TOGETHER sends it over-the-top...."KNOCK IT OFF, SAM!!"

  • Absolute genius to combine Casablanca/Wizard of OZ/Hope and Crosby Road movies all in one well written package. The writing is fine, like fine Corinthian Leather! The kind you find in a Cordoba!!!

  • @MurrowSon, and who would have thought Candy could do such a spot-on Bogart?
