It is 1989. You used to be able to buy this concert on video.

@kateypie1 well said !!!!

Ciarán very rarely was on stage with The Dubliners after his haemorrage in 1974 until he died in 1988. This was part of the RTE series Live at the National Stadium in 1984 which also included records/videos with Jim McCann and Paddy Reilly as solo performers.

correct - it's from 1984.

@johnthong24 good ear, man! that part in valhalla is really badass. i think valhalla and that other valkyries tune from the ragnarok digipak are the only tyr songs i hadn't heard until now.
-
Faroese metal band 'Týr' use fermoy lassies as the solo section of their song 'Valhalla'.
they also use other Irish melodies in some of their other songs too

Ciarian was still alive at this time (1984) so why wasnt he there?
this was post 1987 or so. Ronnie is back and Eamonn is with them. Sadly, Ciarion was no longer with us or unable to perform. Kateypie is right, every one on that stage is a legend in his own right.

Ronnie cam back in 1979. Eamonn 1984, Ciaron left in 1974. and Paddy and Jim are just guests.
So it's anywhere from 1984 - 1992
