It is unfortunate that British organizations are attempting to represent this killer as some kind of victim, when the real victims are Joana Rodriguez, her husband and their child.
If you are tired of all the pro-Carty propaganda, I suggest reading the court's response to her 2004 appeal.

This gives a lot more information regarding the strong evidence against Carty and the background to the crime.
