The Mountain Man by Wolfshead.

The way that you wander is the way that you choose,
The day that you tarry is the day that you lose.
Sunshine or thunder, a man will always wonder,
Where the fair wind blows.

Scenes taken from the movie "Jeremiah Johnson" (1972) featuring Robert Redford.
The music is by Vangelis, called "Prelude", from the album "Voices" (1995).

  • Thank you for returning this to us. When I am home after spending all day runnin down my time, I watch this and dream of my youth, my youthful love for the cold, the mountains, solitude. Peace.

  • excellent video...thanks

  • jeremiah johnson was a great movie. and ive actually met 1 true mountain man who was a war vet and he didnt really want to be bothered by anyone. wont say his name for obvious reasons. but it truly is the way to live. everyday you fight to survive and any other way isnt living at all!

  • One of the best movies ever, not gonna lie.

  • This reminds me of the history of where I live -- LaPorte, Colorado. Here there were French fur trappers who lived alongside Arapaho indians in the mountains.

  • it was a swivel breeched double barrel one a smoothbore and the other a rifle .you pull back on the trigger guard and swivle the other barrel around for a quick second shot

  • what was the rifle that the native had?

  • Greatest movie ever made. They dont make 'em like this anymore!

  • A classic movie! One of my favorites. Check out my Mountain Adventures by clicking on my name.

  • @nebraska8441 How could it be otherwise? Many things in HIS story have been slanted, distorted and made so obscured as to barely resemble reality.

  • @1BigCREE1Redtail
