I think the guy complaining about the background may have missed an opportunity? What if he would have PM'd you and ask if there is some way you could send him an unadulterated audio version online or on on-disk?

The guy complaining about the audio has been this way before with one of my brother's videos. He has a hard time being polite about this subject, I think, but if he had just asked nicely, I would have been much more willing to post the same video again with the music track taken out. At this point, I'm looking at compiling this year's AOMCI videos and selling them on DVD. If I do that, it's possible that I could sell two versions for those opposed to music.

Same as before......the revolting alternate sound track.Why do we have to endure this rubbish when we expect to hear the outboards?That is why I click on the link.......to see and HEAR the outboards which I love,not be insulted with some trashy sound bytes that drown out or replace the sweet music of an old outboard which I grew up with running!!

We have been through this before,I was hoping that more mature minds would prevail but it is not to be it appears.Why can't you give us a choice?Ron G

The title of the video is 'AOMCI at Windsor 2008.' I didn't make this video about outboard motors, I made this video about THE PEOPLE enjoying and running them. What you said is personally insulting to me. As an artist, I have chosen this soundtrack specifically for this video, its purpose is to enhance the emotional impact of it. Take it or leave it; it isn't called a music video for no reason. Thanks for watching.. Michelle M.

I agree,the choice is mine entirely.The fact is that I do appreciate all the hard work put into keeping these old outboards running and I want to hear the outboards running not some alternate sound track that insults the rewards that one could expect by hearing your baby running that you put so much work into to make it purr and shine again.

You need not reply,you don't have a hint of an arguement.The whole issue is going right over your heads.I will enjoy my own old outboards and ignore Urvids

Ron, the choice is all yours! Heres what I suggest. Gather up all your buddies and get out on the water and film your own video. Whats so hard about that? The filming or not enough buddies? Many people enjoy these video's and appreciate the hard work put into them. Why insult someones hard work? Why would anyone give you a choice anyway? You hardly deserve anything.
