Authorities evacuated Walter Hall Park on Friday, April 15, 2011, after a man was found dead in his car, apparently from inhaling hydrogen sulfide gas, a fire official said.
League City firefighters and police were sent to the park, 807 state Highway 3, at 11:15 a.m., and found a man dead in the car, League City Fire Marshal Wanda Martin said.
The man had called emergency officials ahead of time, and put stickers on the car windows, saying "danger" and "hydrogen sulfide," police Sgt. John Jordan said.
@bugsme10 Times ARE hard & have been hard in the past.. along with murders/suicides. Imo, it's more of a mental health problem than anything else. I was just wondering what you meant when you said 'there will be many more to come' .. there are people, quite a few people, who think it's the 'end of times' .. just wanted to see if you were one of them. Have a great weekend.. the weather is beautiful outside. I just got back from a ride down the seawall, the beaches & Gulf are beautiful today!

@sheri226
times are very hard for
a lot of people. remember the single mother
who drove her self and her kids into the river.
there are suicides every day that we do not hear about.
