clance2002- this has nothing to do with her being depressed or away from country- if she didnt do all that plastic surgery she would have still looked this good - she was in her prime in the late 80's and early 90's in LA - it was then when she looked her best and i am sure she was more depressed than she is now-

Please remember she was only a teenager then- 18/19 years old. She was having a time of her life like most teenagers in that period in Iran. When you have to leave the things you love and have and move to a foreign country is not easy. She got depressed like most young Iranians who left their country and loved ones behind. And I hate it when people start comparing others to when they were in their youth; people grow old and things change. I can say is"oh happy days".
