  • Where did you get the cowl hood?

  • v8? fine. Ford engine? boo

  • @jdiaz713 You would have a hard time making it fit. Dohc engines are very wide.

  • I'm gonna do this when I finally find a 302, any serious fabrication you need to do? I know I will have to buy the motor mounts and crossmember but what else am I gonna need to make custom?

  • i was thinking of putting the 2011 5.0 motor in a 93 rx7. anyone think i should go threw with it or if it willl even work or b good idea?

  • @prdgyair I saw that one it was red, it really should be in the Ford museum but I don't believe it was Ford that did the work on it, it was some coachwork company i think don't remember the name but they worked with ford on it...More Googling should provide more answers...I could also prove to my cousin that Wankel's and Fords belong together!

  • @Blackinterceptor999 yeah, if i heard correctly there were twoor three built around 64-65, and only one remains, SOMEWHERE... strangely enough i saw one of these at a ford show about 15 years ago, and since then they have dissappeared.. seems like ford should have those!

  • @prdgyair Ok so perhaps not the original prototypes but as it turns out in 1965 they did do some Wankel powered mustangs, I have seen a few pictures of this, just in case anybody else reads this and thinks we're wrong...I double check my info.

  • @prdgyair I'm pretty sure you mean Corvette, the mustang started out with the inline 6 based on the Falcon.

  • @Blackinterceptor999 one of the original mustang prototypes was a rotary, so, why not?
