This series of 6 videos honors my brother David who was killed in a car accident recently. I discuss the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ as it applies, not only to God Almighty Himself, but to us as well.

  • I didn't »choose to disbelieve«. But extraordinary claims like »there is a god« require extraordinary evidence, and that kind of evidence hasn't been presented to me by any religion.

I am sorry that you lost your brother. But if you believe that you're correct, you should strive for your own death in order to get reunited with your brother.

I'm glad that you aren't that strong a believer, and that you »choose« to stay with us.

  • I should strive for my own death? What, are you a serious Moron, or just a dumb one? Your logic is every bit as absolutely stupid as the logic of Christians who pretend archaeology proves the Bible. Man where do you stupid thinking people come from anyway?

***I AM A STRONG BELIEVER**** and because of that, I CHOOSE to live my life here also. You mean that is past your ability to comprehend?!?

  • Nah, I over-reacted. Sorry. You say this is the only life there is, but you neither have proof of that either. That is merely your perception, one I believe is mistaken.

I am going to die anyway, why strive for it?!? That is ludicrous thinking. I have a loving wife, children, parents, etc. still here! I am more than happy in living right now for Pete sake. I have won the sweepstakes, this life PLUS the other. Woo hoo! It gives me encouragement to strive for better.

  • My deepest sympathies for your loss. I could never imagine loosing a family member as close as a sibling.

  • Thank you for your kind words. It is a tough time, but we shall get through it. The Gospel is true, and the resurrection is real.

  • Kerry, I'm so very sorry to hear this news. You and your family will be in my prayers.

It's events like this that remind us that the claims of the Gospel are far more than mere propositions up for debate.

    Christos anesti! Alithos anesti!

  • I'm sorry for your loss. This series is a wonderful tribute to your brother. What a joyful hope we have because of our great loving God.

  • Sorry if I upset you, Kerry. But you are one of several believers claiming that atheists have »chosen« to disbelieve. As far as I know, this applies to a negligible amount of atheists, better described as contrarians.

My lack of belief corresponds with my lack of options (and of reasons) to believe in any old folk tale.

I am glad you choose to live, Kerry. This life is the only one we'll get.
