I Ripped the note off the door and read it. It said go around to the back door and follow the path inside and up the steps. So I did just that. When I got to the steps I took my shoes off so I wouldnt get the pearly white steps dirty. When I got up there I heard Joe talking to someone so I followed the voices into his room. I was surprised to see him in bed taking his temperature.
Joe: hmmhmmm
Erin: Its okay Ill wait.
After a couple more seconds he takes the thermometer out of his mouth.
Joe: Sorry about that. Hi Erin.
Wow for once he actually remembered my name. Impressive.
Erin: Hi Joe.
Joe: -Moves over then pats the bed- sit here
Erin: Well okay. -I sit next to him- Why werent u at school today?
Joe: Long story. Well I felt sick this morning so I didnt go. Kevin took care of me all day but now he said he has work But that cant be true because he doesnt have a job. Hes probably just going to flirt with some hot girls.
-Laughs-
Erin: -Laughs- Soo I guess we wont be studying today then.
Joe: -Shrugs- Guess not .
Erin: Well I better get going then bye Joe.
Joe: Wait!
Erin: Yah?
Joe: Would u mind making me some soup please?
Erin: Well why not. Ill be right back.
Joe: Ill be waiting. -Smiles-
Ive gotta say Joe really is different then I thought he would be. I mean hes still perverted but he is really funny and cute. Oh hell no! I did not just say Joe Jonas was cute!!! Im going crazy but I actually dont mind it. So I make him his chicken noodle soup and bring it back upstairs.
Erin: Here u are. -Hands him the bowl-
Joe: -Smiles- Thanks.
For the next couple of minutes Joe and I just stare at each other. No one says anything its just an awkward silence. I really look into his eyes and I see something beautiful.
Joes P.O.V.
Wow I never really noticed how beautiful her eyes were. They sparkle in the sunlight. She really is pretty but she probably still thinks Im a jerk.
Erin: Are u done would u like me to take that?
Joe: Oh sure go ahead. Thanks
Erin: No problem.
I walk downstairs and put the bowl in the sink then go back upstairs and gather my books together and start to leave but before I could someone grabs my arm and I spin around. Joe takes his hands and rubs them gently across my cheek. Then we just stood there until he grabbed my hands and intertwined them with his.
Joe: Thank you. For taking care of me.
Erin: -Blushes- No problem.
Joe: See u later then!
I Walk all the way home without saying a word until I get home. I run up to my room and grab my pillow and scream into it. I never really thought I would having any sort of feelings towards Joe. I really cant believe whats happening. Its really overwhelming. Ive never felt this way about someone before. Its only been two days but Im really starting to like him.
To get my mind off of Joe I decide to have a movie night. My parents went out to dinner so I put on my pajamas and got out a carton of ice cream from the freezer and go up to my room and start watching my all time favorite movie the notebook. I called Tayl and Vic but they were both busy with family gatherings so I guess Im all alone. That is until the ending of the notebook when I start hearing Tapping on my window. It wasnt very loud but loud enough so I could hear it. I put down the carton on my end table and look out my window. My eyes light up when I see who is standing there . I Quickly opened my window and stuck my head out.
Erin: -Jokingly- What do u want Jonas?
Joe: -Holds up my History textbook- You forgot something.
I slip on my slippers and run downstairs. I open the door and run over to where he is standing.
Erin: Thanks. -Takes the textbook-
Joe slid his hands into his pockets and we just stood there again . The breeze outside feels nice up against my care bear pajamas but I start to shiver and I guess Joe saw me because he took his football jacket and draped it over my shoulders. I Just smiled and he smiled back.
Joe: So would u like to get some ice-cream?
Erin: Id loved to. Let me get dressed stay here.
I go upstairs and get dressed in my older sister Celias skinny jeans with a black V-neck t-shirt and run downstairs while putting my old converse on. I lock the door and walk over to Joe and we go to Baskin Robbins. Ive got to say Ive never had more fun in my life! Joe is so funny and really sweet. We have a very deep conversation that Ive never had with anyone.
