@sannyp120963 without slow motion yes but if you use 120-, 300- or 600 fps you can't use 1080
-
can it shoot in 1080?
-
this looks like crapp, I think im getting the hdr cx350v :]
-
@camcorderinfodotcom And if I record a 2.4 second video at 600 fps, it creates a 23 second long video at 29.97fps.
Where are my other 265fps?
-
@13hippopotamuses And how it's not really what they claim.
-
I can personally attest that the 300fps is actually 154fps. The "600" fps is actually 344 fps.
These are timed by a stop watch and even if they are somewhat inaccurate, the results are WAY off of what JVC claims.
IMO, it's lawsuit time.

Can a Sony HDR-FX1000 do this?
-
it stinks how much the quality goes dow as fps gets higher...

Are you limited to a time length of say, three seconds such as others do?

Yes. You are limited to 4 seconds on the 120fps and 300fps modes (played back at 8 seconds and 20 seconds respectively). The 600fps mode has a limit of 2.4 seconds (plays back at 24 seconds).
