@TheGroundedAviator the F-8 pilot i met through my dad as well as one of the F-4 guys. Not to mention i used to work with a gentleman who was a crew chief on A-6s during Vietnam. One of the F-4 guys flies for the NASCAR race team RCR. nice guy but doesn't like talkin about his time flyin in Vietnam. heard from someone that he was ordered to napalm villages. haven't talked to the F-8 gentleman in a long time. the A-4 pilot was a controller at purdue university but he retired. what grounded you?

@kidf22 Wow, where did you meet them? I''ve meet a few A-4K and MB-339C pilots and one or two SBD Dauntless, TBF Avenger, Hudson, Ventura and Lancaster pilots. Used too fly and wanted too be like them.. too late now.

lol i know an F-8 pilot (he's got some kills from Vietnam), some F-4 guys (one flew Iron Hand missions in Vietnam), and an A-4 pilot. Have yet to meet a F-14 pilot but I've met a few Harrier guys and I'm a pilot myself. puts a whole new perspective to this when you're watching it after you know some guys who've flown some of these aircraft and some of em under fire. great vid btw, keep it up.

Don't ask, they never make sense.
That and a skilled pilot can still fly with them attached.
That's how it was supposed to be, but then again, the world wasn't supposed to have any more wars.

Drop tanks. . . no drop tanks. . . drop tanks. . . no drop tanks. The first four episodes have several inconsistencies like the drop tanks thing but by episode five they have ironed out most of these inconsistencies.
