  • why the hell did i have to be born during this retard generation we have now

  • This entire album and movie is a pychological case study. There will never be another concept album to match its' legacy. As a youth, this album gave me many hours of introspection regarding my own life and those significant aspects that shape who we are. We can hardly understand it as we live it but to see it in retrospective gives us that insight into how fragie we all really are. Anyone who refuses to feel has his or her own wall up and must answer to themselves as to why.

  • You know, you talk to a person who has a passing interest in Floyd and he really has no understanding of the therapeutic quality to the music. The ignorant hear the mention of Floyd and go. "Yeah man, laser light shows, good weed, and shrooms! Darkside Rocks!" I hear that and think "man, you are really missing the boat."

  • @parodiaspicture I know what you mean. Some males would see the expression of true emotion and catharsis a sign of weakness. Boys don't cry I guess. But I have found it very liberating and enlightening to allow the full expression of what we feel to come out. A lot of my "guy" friends haven't the time for such "deep" conversation. Aw man, suck it up. Then they're on to women and beer. I am no cassanova but I have found my deepest conversations with women.

  • @uhhlaurenyeah I understand this comment is very old but unfortunately, I just recognized it. Man, what a blast it would have been to do my thesis on this album. I went to Old Dominion University (Psychology 93', Minor Sociology) and I find this work giving me a new insight everytime i watch the movie or listen to the music. I always have to start at the beginning and take it to the end. Anal Retentive Obsessive Compulsive I guess. But sometimes neurosis has it's benefits.

  • The Wall is whatever you think "the wall" is in your life, your troubles, it means you have to think outside the "BRICKS" and whatever was picking away at you or getting in the way of life, a.k.a if your building a wall, tear it down, make it vanish, because it's not worth shutting yourself in one. I overcame panic attacks and depression, I took down most of that "wall," I am happy and confident with myself! Pink Floyd may not be The Beatles, but they are a necessity in life.

  • @parodiaspicture God bless you, and rock on Pink Floyd for helping people! woooooohoo!!!!!

  • @Msumner316 You are 100% right, The Wall gave me a new look at life and this all has a message, and that is really simple.. Think outside the BRICKS!

  • @REvenzo2 For good and for Evil :(

  • @PinkFloydFan95 take pride in not being retarded then. -_-

  • @BRANDONimasleep you cant call us all retards so simmer the fuck down

  • if you dont cry while listening to this, you either dont understand it or just dont want to.
