Garage door maintenance & safety tips

A garage door is the largest moving appliance in a home; and yet, most folks don't realize that there are some simple steps they can take to maintain their garage door.

International Door Association (IDA), the world's largest trade association of professional garage door and access system dealers and installers, is launching its Garage Door Care YouTube channel, to show consumers how to properly maintain and assess their garage door system. This channel is an extension of IDA's consumer website, GarageDoorCare.com, which helps consumers understand garage door operation and safety.
