2001.5 Audi S4 2.7T dynoed on a Mustang Dynamometer at AWE-Tuning

Dyno Run 1: Stock
212AWHP (250BHP Reported)
224AWTQ (258BTQ Reported)

Dyno Run 2: GIAC-X
269AWHP (317BHP Estimated)
267AWTQ (308BTQ Estimated)

Dyno Run 3: GIAC-X
268AWHP (316BHP Estimated)
275AWTQ (317BTQ Estimated)

There was no time allowed for adaptation after the GIAC-X Flash. It was flashed on the dyno for true 'out of the box' results. This was all done on a stock engine, stock turbos, stock air filter, and stock exhaust. Explanations and dyno graphs within video!

  • Sounds more raspy, Probably the difference in timing with the chip or its just the boost!

  • @harorider95 I don't even notice it, just louder boost.

  • @PovGRide742 Is this just an installed chip or what? How much does it cost and how long does it take to install? Those are great power improvements for just a chip.

  • @MrChrispchris Not sure about the 2000 and 2001, but 2001.5 and 2002 are able to be flashed instead of having an actual chip soldered in the ECM. The chip/flash changes various things such as timing and fuel mapping, but most importantly raises the boost, which is why there are such big gains. Stock boost is 8 PSI, where as this tune is around 15 PSI.
