CÆSAR DID NOT APPOINT HIMSELF DICTATOR.DICTATOR WAS A LEGAL POSITION IN ROMAN LAW.HE WAS ELECTED BY THE SENATE 'dictator rei gerundae causa'→'FOR THE MATTER TO BE DONE'→HE WAS ELECTED FOR 10 CONSECUTIVE TERMS→'dictator in perpetuity'→NOT FOR LIFE.ROMANS WERE SICK OF CIVIL WAR.SULLA FORCEFULLY TOOK DICTATOR'S POWERS.THE MOTION TO DO SO & NO TIME LIMIT WERE BOTH ILLEGAL.THE SENATE WAS PURGED VIA PROSCRIPTION→SULLA RULED THRU FEAR.DID CÆSAR SCARE HIS OPPONENTS→YES,BUT KNOWN FOR CLEMENCY.

this is what i call a God unto the son who feed more then legion which hapens to be 5000 ie feeding the 5000 and who turned water into wine buy building an aqueduct so wke up to the true son of God Augustus Caesar.

statistically any living person with offspring will be related with everyone else 1000 years later. unfortunately caesar did not have any children that lived to have children of their own.
but, it's hard to imagine him spending 9 years in gaul without frequenting the opposite sex. which - in those days - more than likely produced some results.
so in a way you're right: today, ±2000 years later, we're all related to caesar.
