You have Nathans grift of the gab lol and more important, his total configence in his hypnotic ability. Expection is such a major part of hypnosis. Otis is a charmer, and a punk it seems. Great video. The concious mind normally watches for uninvited attempts to access the subconcious to implant suggestions, so in hypnosis the focus of the concious mind is shifted, in this case to the left arm and hand, when the sleep command is given, the subconcious is unguarded and accepts the suggestion.

It is funny when I see it again, I have to admit. I'd put Otis under SO many times that once he needed to speak to someone unexpectedly but couldn't remember his own name! Teaching him emergency recall triggers seemed to be a good idea...at the time. ;)

Ah, yes I caught a brief look under his cap. Yes, it did look marine or special ops training. So he's used to obeying orders to from those he sees as his superior without too much thinking, makes for an excellent subject.
