I have a ton of Marvin Gaye stuff, and I have a 45 r.p.m. called "Pretty Little Baby" that sounds like this. But, I was in a store Christmas shopping today and heard "Purple Snowflakes" for the very first time...what a great song. What a great post. thank you Bigchunkzcom.

My hubby and I heard this in a store and both walked out singing it but had no idea who it was or what it was called. All we knew was "Snowflakes!" LOL. I was so happy when it came on Pandora with the artist and title. Smooth, cool, Christmas tune that needs more recognition. Oh, and we were in The Gap.

I first discovered this song several years ago on a CD that I got from Bath and Body Works of all places! The name of the CD is "The Perfect Christmas: Holiday Music 2005". Maybe you can find a copy somewhere out there.
