Good to hear, I'll try it out soon. It's too bad we still have the flash issue... but now vbox allows us to view it when we need to, and as usual boycott it when we cba to.

@sparcdr now using VB 3.1.6 and have not had a single freeze in months. I've even used a windows vm to make several xvids, the process using over a day of cpu time, without hitch. Looking forward to the release of FreeBSD 8.1.

Happy to report I've worked out most of the kinks. It will freeze the system every once in a blue moon, but not like it used to. It was a problem with SMP support in VirtualBox VMs and also with power management and CPU frequencies.

Unfortunately virtualbox sometimes freezes my system (freebsd 8.0 release, amd64), even the latest port, 3.1.2. Glad I installed it on a ZFS root or I would have done a lot of fscking ;)
