The origins of the heroic age and the Justice League of America first
started in one of the darkest times in our history. At the beginnings
of World War II. President Roosevelt knew that the U.S. would end up
in this war, and he ordered the greatest minds to come up with ideas
to help us defeat the Axis powers. One such scientist created a
"Super-Soldier" serum, that when injected would instantly make the
subject the peak of human physical perfection. A young lad by the
name of Steve Rogers volunteered to be the first subject. After
being given the injection a spy who had infultrated the group shot
the scientist dead. Being the only person who knew how to make the
syrum meant that with him dead, the young man would be the sole
Super-Soldier. The President ordered the best military minds and
greatest combatants to train young Mr. Rogers, so that he would be
ready when the time came. Also, another group of scientists were work-
ing on a new metal compound, they succeded in creating a disk of it,
but, again sabotage caused an explosion killing all the scientists
and their work. Except for the single disk of the metal they had
created. It alone survived the massive blast. The President ordered it
to be painted in a patriotic flavor, and for a costume, also in
red, white, and blue to be made, so that Steve could wear it, and keep his
true identity secret. He would be a symbol for all Americans. Roosevelt
dubbed the young man, Captain America.

Soon then U.S. did join the war, and Captain America was right there
on the forefront. He battled many villians both here and abroad, such
as the evil Russian by the name of Red Skull, created by Stalin himself,
and a dutiful servant of his, until even Stalin feared the Skull. Once
Germany turned on the USSR, the Red Skull would at times even find
himself allied with Captain America, though these were for very short
periods, and only as long as it served the Red Skull's purposes. One
of Cap's greatest arch-foes was a Latverian scientist by the name of
Baron Victor Von Doom. During the war, Latveria was part of the Third
Reich, and Doom served Hitler. During one of their earliest encounters,
Cap caused a doomsday machine of Doom's to explode. Cap thought that
to be the end of Victor, but soon Dr. Doom, as he became known, appeared
to bedevil Cap and the Allies, hiding his now scarred face behind an
ancient metal mask of his ancestors, he also wore a suit of armor, making
him a very fearful presense. The man who would become Cap's most tragic
enemy was a being found by the Italians when they marched into Ehtiopia.
The man called himself Vandal Savage and claimed to be immortal. He
claimed to have been some of the most ruthless men in history. He
aligned himself with Mussilini and the rest of the Axis. Cap battled
him many times, as Savage stayed fighting for the Axis even after the defeat
of Italy. The final battle came as Vandal tried to fly a bomber and
drop a bomb on Washington to try to salvage the war effort of the soon
defeated Germans. Cap and Savage battled for control of the plane.
Vandal finally threw Cap from the plane and he fell into the icy
Atlantic waters below, but Vandal soon realized that Cap had destroyed
the planes controls and he and the plane also plunged into the ocean's
depths, and the bomb exploded. But unknown to Cap was that Vandal
indeed was immortal and he survived the explosion, for Vandal's true
identity was of the ancient Egyptian, Teth-Adam, and thanks to the
Amulet of Isis, he had been given the power of eternal life! (There is more, couldn't fit it here. Email if you want it all at wrestlgurl@yahoo.com )

  • Don't much care for it, but clearly a lot of work went into it, so kudos for that.

  • I'm sure I know much more about DC comics than you, but I thank you for the comment anyhow. In case you came late, this is MY version of the JLA, and I explained I would be using characters from other companies, including those Marvel characters you mentioned, so you see you are actually the one who doesn't know a F'N thing. : )

  • @barnabywilis thanks for the comment, barnabywillis!

  • Yes, I am aware of that, if you had read the title of the vid you might have realized this isn't your daddy's JLA, but my version. And by the by, I'm not a dude. Thanks for the comment.

  • dude u have marvel in there

  • Thanks for the info johnkerry7, but I already am aware of that. You might want to look at the title of my little vid again. It's "My" Universe, which is why I did the little write-up in the comments section. These are not the Marvel or DC versions of these characters, but the way I see them. I always thought "Red" Skull would make more sense as a Russian, then German, and since I also put Dr. Doom into the WWII scene, and had him working for Hitler, it all worked, atleast for me ; )
