This is from 1997 when I worked at Elkhorn Webpress. It went into Brown Printing and closed this plant. This is a Harris M300 running.

  • That's a big machine

  • Where are the hats made from folded paper? The pressmen at the newspaper where I used to work always had them on.

  • I worked at Brown Printing in Franklin, KY from 1986 until Quebecor bought it in 1991, and I worked there until 2005. I worked in the press some but mostly the bindery dept.

  • It's not dying, just going to shit thats all

  • I work on a M300 6 color . only one web tho. I think printing is a dying trade get out if u can lol.

  • Those are some wicked looking rollstands....where I work all of ours are narrow uprights----the 2FF and the 4d look similar, but everything from the back print unit to ribbon deck looks exactly the same--but much, much cleaner.....almost felt like I was still at work.
