Nice bike, great lookin' apes! Bet you feel like a king hangin' on to those bars, at least I do flying my 18s on my pretty standard RK. I have no problem ridin' a 1000 miles to some rally, except the hands have to alternate hanging down every now and then to get the blood flowing again. That's the price one have to pay to look cool (or like a fool), whichever suits you;-) I actually regret not putting 20s or 22s on the bike when the job was done! Just wondering about your rake with 26" front?

I have to agree, once you have ridden with apes you will never want any other. I used to love drag bars till I bought a bike with apes. My plan was to change them immediately, instead I have been rockin apes for the past 11 years!

They actually make a new head light piece that is reangled but I don't like how they look. The headlights itself is set strait outward so the light shines correctly. It's just the housing that angles up some. This is how it was when I first built it looks different now.

This bike can be riden for hours. I do it all the time. Anyone that hasnt tried apes needs to! They are surprisingly comfortable! I had beach bars on it at first and took them off, constant back ache. These are 18s i'd pobably go with 16s next time
