One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Made me cry so many times ... sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad way. But it always reminds me of one thing: True love exists ... and that's no stuff and nonsense. :)

Coming from someone who remembers Split Enz performing this very song and someone who loves Eddie Vedders voice .... I'll say this:

"Stuff & Nonsense" is a beautiful song and both artists here sing beautifully ... but I'm not sure about Tim's harmonies and I'm not sure about the middle 8 ... sounds a bit dodgy to my ear.

But isn't it great that Eddie Vedder considers Split Enz as one of his all time favourite bands ... kudos aplenty :)

I have never heard the original version and obviously have respect for it. But from where I stand, if you are calling this ruining a song, then that's what I pray to do everyday of my life. Ruin songs like Eddie is doing right here. I would give anything to ruin a song like this. Wish I could ruin things like this. Wish I could be a ruiner.
