  • Hey, if I already have like a instant brownie mix... can I substitude/cut out any ingredients? (to be easier for me, since i dont have those ingredients at home nowXD)

    please reply!

    thanks!! xx

  • @ALiCEiSeLF if the brownie mix has baking powder or any raising agent, then u just need to add the eggs and butter.. but usually brownie mix dont have a raising agent, so baking powder might still be required depending on how fudgy you want it.. (less baking powder for more fudgy cake)

  • @TheSnackery and how much brownie mix should I use? 4 tbsp?? or 7 tbsp??

and do i need to put in the chopped chocolate bars or the chocolate chips? also, the amount of baking soda? like a pinch? a tbsp??

    please reply again!!

ps. sry i have to ask you lots of questions, i have never baked before and have no idea how to bake

  • @ALiCEiSeLF use 4-5 tbsp Brownie mix, with a pinch of baking soda.. and add a few chocolate chips for a rich taste.. check out our 'brownie in a mug' video, just uploaded that.. its easier to make if youve got all purpose flour or plain flour.. :)

No worries, ur questions help others too !

  • perfect recipe i did it 3 times and there will be more ,, thanks !

  • Thanks for this recipe. I really liked this one. Keep this show up, you don't have that many views at this moment but i think you deserve a lot more.

  • I just tried this! It tasted lovely (a little too much for me in one go though ha) Thanks so much for sharing it! You made the vid extremely clean and easy to understand. The only thing I'd suggest is putting the amt of ingredients in the descrip. That was the only difficult part when I tried to prep. Other than that, thanks again! :)

  • @kimcharix hey! you could use all purpose flour + baking powder + salt to substitute for self raising flour. We basically just need something to make the cake rise :)

  • what is self raising flour? can i just use common flour?

  • thanks for this video~ it really helped me. i will make some this for new year
