I meet Ryan Nyquist and his friend Chris in 1994 while at Calabasas Park in San Jose. His riding style surpassed any other rider I've seen out there at the park. A park I've been riding at since 1987. I saw a lot of riders come and go, and maybe one here or there impressed me. But when I was there in either 1993 or I'm pretty sure 1994 I saw two guys getting higher than anyone else and doing tricks no one else was doing. I introduced myself and asked if I could videotape them. They said yes and this is pretty much what I shot that day.

i was lucky enough to watch cecil johns build cave man and give me pointers on jumping it..to bad i busted my head on cave man in front of him..hahaha funny shit..... rest in peace...cecil johns

Went to the old nam trails. All I saw was a golf course. Alot of the old spots are gone by now. Street is a bust at Stanford or has stopies so you can't grind any ledges. Skateparks are the only thing that's left fun to ride. I would get back into riding again if more spots would start popping up again. Until then I guess I'll start growing old.

Last time I saw angle was vans skatepark. He looked the same but I guess he has been going thru some drama with some momas. Last I saw of Scott was at cj's service. He still was rocking the bowl haircut. Diamion still rides but I'd on the injured list ridding at ramp rats. Cali isn't the same after that kid broke his neck at Cali and his pops wanted to sue the park. Had a he'll of a time over the years riding there. Made alot of cool friends there. Place will never be the same. Rip Cali.

@flyjay77 homestead high like the one in sunnyvale california on homestead road and mary ave. bc i go to school there and ive seen tire marks on the walls and an animal sticker on one of the poles

I miss those days of Cali , riding all day than loading up in who knows truck and riding street at homested high ., and cant forget TACO BROVO !!!! jumps like indo , rocket , cave man , nut , cave man JR. , hill . just to name a few . back in the day with riders like Kai , scott , angle , daimion , CJ , sad brad , neal the wheel .
