Colin Holden is Chief Exec of East Sussex Credit Union, one of the Top 20 credit unions in the UK in terms of customer numbers and capital value. They have spent the last year upgrading their IT resources, including an overhaul of all their equipment and taking on an IT support contract from SCIP. Given the hard times all organisations are facing I was interested in why they had chosen to do this and the benefits he feels they have reaped from this investment. He also touches on plans to link up a number of users of credit union software, to help reduce costs and improve service to their customers.
