Hunger Games Casting News: Thresh and Rue Cast

The Hunger Games is a little more than a month out from starting production and the casting process is still in full force. ClevverTV has your update right now.

Hi everyone -- you're back at ClevverTV. I'm Joslyn Davis with a casting update on 2012's highly anticipated film release "The Hunger Games." Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth already landed three of the top leading roles in the movie, but just yesterday we learned that two up and comers, Dayo Okeniyi and Amandla Stenberg were cast at Thresh and Rue, the District 11 Tributes. Now we're hearing that veteran actress Elizabeth Banks is circling the role of Effie Trinket. In fact, EW is reporting that Elizabeth, who you all likely enjoy on NBC's hit-show "30 Rock," is in "serious talks to play [the] bright-eyed, chipper-voiced" character. The movie is set to start shooting next month in North Carolina, and with an already widely-established fan base, we're wondering what you all think about the newest additions to the cast.
