The horses are thin, underfed. . which cuts back on energy that can cause him problems. They're just on the brink of showing bones. They're not as energetic as they should be - and I don't like the "laying down" of horses at all. Takes the life out of them. Sitting? That's not good training.
I can see obedience - how he commanded such obedience isn't shown - but there is a big whip-cracking. Not that great at all.
