  • sorry, can i ask where you got the audio -- sounds great, sbd, etc. - thanks!

  • This came from an old VHS tape that a friend owns from a Gents reunion concert in like 1989. I don't know if it was ever commercially available. If it was then, I don't think it is anymore.

  • Wow, Charlie, Eddie, Duffy and Tom Grey. I can't ask for me....I sure do miss the incomparable harmony of Charlie, John, and Eddie.

  • This song gives my goose bumps, goose bumps. Always has. One of the great great bands of Bluegrass for all time.!

  • What an awesome performance. Thanks for sharing this.

  • @AnnetteYowell Actually, it was my festival. I was the promoter. I was National Entertainment Network. Dave was a good guy and a good friend. I was so sorry to hear he passed.

  • @sacbgman I was there, also. A colleague of mine, Dave Blevins (he's passed away since) MC'd part of the festival. What did you do?

  • So beautiful yet so creepy, these guys are amazing. Johns pants are out of control lol

  • This is from a Bluegrass festival that was produced in May, 1992 in Woodstock, Virginia. Eddie and Martha were the host band. It was a 4 day festival with most of the big names in Bluegrass. It rained 3 days out of 4...sun didn't come out until Bill Monroe took the stage Sunday afternoon. This festival will remain as one of my favorite memories. It gave me a chance to meet and work with two of my idols, John and Charlie, before they left us. Two of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet.

  • Reminds me of the myth of Chicago's Resurrection Mary.

  • damn it it is not cuntry..it is GRASS
