Character actor Gailard Sartain (http://mazeppa.com) made these two short and funny public service ads for Tulsa TV circa 1981. They were recorded from KGCT-TV, Channel 41. Mr. Sartain is well-known in Tulsa to this day as "Dr. Mazeppa Pompazoidi", host of the late Saturday night local TV show, "The Uncanny Film Festival and Camp Meeting" (1970-73). • Thanks for the post. I am from Tulsa and lived there for 24 years and he used to work for Channel 8 for a short time and lost his job when he was doing the news one time and someone gave him the finger and he cussed on the air. My aunt told me this story and met him one time somewhere. He was on Hee Haw for years.

  • Wasn't he on "Hee Haw"?
