The Founders of World Tai Chi Day, World Healing Day, were inducted into the Internal Arts Hall of Fame in New York. In the acceptance speech, Bill Douglas, explains how mind-body teachers are precious gifts to humanity.

As our generation struggles with a world in turbulence as the global population has quadrupled in our lifetime, mind-body teachers offer the world tools to not only handle the unbearable stress, but offer tools to enable us to ungrip from old ways of perceiving ourselves, so that we may metamorphisis into new ways of living that can enable a future of limitless possibility.

World Healing Day Founder is the author of the spiritual-visionary book chosen "Best Novel of the Year" by Spiritual Enlightenment Magazine, entitled "2012 The Awakening." He was also the United States Winner of Best Short Story of the Year in the AOL / Chicken Soup for the Soul Writing Contest.

He is the Tai Chi Expert for DrWeil.com, and was commissioned by Prevention Magazine to create that #1 health magazine's Tai Chi Tutorial. He is the author of the world acclaimed tai chi book, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to T'ai Chi & Qigong," and presenter in the DVD "Anthology of T'ai Chi & Qigong: The Prescription for the Future." Booklist Magazine, the premiere library journal wrote of it, "An excellent introduction to this ancient art."

Bill has recieved honors from the World Congress on Qigong; The National Qigong Association; the American ALS Association presented him with their "Lou Gehrig Hero Award."
