I bought The Imposter on DVD, and this song fits the story so well. Highly recommended as a real stereo-type breaker; probing all kinds of hypocrisy, and giving tough love a good name.
Livgren's, "Proff", character is a humble janitor/wise mentor with an edge that Max's character, "Johny C", bounces off when few others would still listen.
Other songs in the movie are worth hearing, and yes, that's Kevin Max on vocals here.
