if you sing with music it would be easier to hold the right notes you are changing a bit with your tones

Listen to yourself singing this. Try to hear that some notes/parts sound great and some are a bit off. With a few months worth of vocal lessons you can increase the number of notes/parts that sound great and you're on your way to becoming a very good singer. Have fun and constantly seek ways to get better. Cheers.
