While Jeff Lynne was the main driving force of The Electric Light Orchestra, he didn't make the band of the 1970's and 1980's a hit on his own. He abandoned them to go on and do the Travelling Wilbury thing and then did everything he could to keep them unemployed and eventually keeping the ELO name from them. A little selfish and self-serving it would appear. The biggest problem with ELO was live performance. I saw them in the 1970's and there was no showmanship, same in Lynne's "Zoom".

Give me a thumbs up if you would have asked for a refund on your "Ticket to the moon" if you had watched this rubbish live!

@reverendflash OMG, all , what's not the "original" is a "cover", and THIS is not the member constellation from 1981 - do you know? That's what I meant!

Compliment! This is a very good cover- yeah!!!! Ilove this song, it's from ELO-album "Time" ;))
@Herzflimmern40 It's not a "cover" just because Jeff Lynne didn't want to participate. He was asked and declined. Kelly Groucutt, Bev Bevan, Mik Kominski and the others continued to give ELO fans what they wanted. End of story.

I don't know why you have to call it a 'cover'. There are twice as many ELO members in this band as there were in Jeff Lynne's ELO band of 2001.
