If you don't live there and are planning a trip to Ireland's west coast it is good to know that the ferry is a great way to travel up (or down) the coast.

i live 15 minutes away from tarbert and i have been on that ferry many times. what do you find so interesting about it

I'm from Seattle. When I was in Ireland last year I enjoyed the ride. We were coming from Dingle and headed to Galway. The ferry ride was a great way to go. I've recommended it to a couple friends who have made plans to visit Ireland.
