that was one of the most pretentious and full of shit comment i've read in a long time. it's like going to a restaurant and not caring about how the food taste as long as everyone's "having a good time". i harken back to the days when live performances were more important to the musicians, and records were solely promotional.
it really doesn't matter how anyone sounds live. if you're there and having a good time, you don't care what he sounds like. as long as it's sonic gravy studio-wise then you have a good band with a good record.
This was superb for a live performance. But I really don't think the live singer is a very good singer at all. Still, it gives the band a unique edge.
