  • The whistle sounds like an SP 5 chime. I know cause during the 2010 FWRHS open house i was hostler when the SP 5 chime was installed on the fireman's side. I was the one who blew it during the domonstrations.

  • because steam is so cool and it is fun to work with. he is lucky he can since most can't

  • hey my grampa rides that train ever time he helps out with it and stuff, i personally dont really know what he does for it though

  • alright thank u

  • it's probably an air tank since their seems to be a heater on top of the smok box that i did'nt see.

  • It's probably a feed water heater, it heats the water going into the boiler so it takes less time to heat and turn into steam. But i may be wrong because Canadian heaters are usually above the smoke box

  • Can some1 tell me what that one cylender thing is that is above the cow catcher and inbetween the pistons.

  • That's probably the best sounding Canadian "tin-can" bell around! I know, it's flat and not very melodic, but it doesn't get on your nerves hearing it over and over again like so many other bells.

  • She sounds pretty good for 7mph.

  • #1293's bell sounds grand trunk #6325's bell. I hope the bell changed sound back to its old sound.
