A fundraising program supporting research and finding a cure - dedicated to all of the children and families coping with Niemann-Pick Type C and other genetic diseases.

Niemann-Pick diseases are genetic diseases which are classified in a subgroup of LSDs called sphingolipidoses or lipid storage disorders in which harmful quantities of fatty substances, or lipids, accumulate in the spleen, liver, lungs, bone marrow, and brain. Niemann-Pick Type C strikes an estimated 1:150,000 people.
There is no known cure for Niemann Pick Type C; The Lysosomal Storage Research Group of Dr. Joe T.R. Clarke is contributing towards the work in finding a treatment to this disease.
