  • Best Playoff series Ive ever watched. Too bad they lost to the jazz in the 2nd round.

  • @SinaSoh Five rings means everything. Unlike the bitch ass Mavs claiming they are the best after winning ONE championship.

  • mavericks used to suck

  • @JayCube303 and that most players from this roster don't even play for the warriors anymore.

  • i thought i was going to get rick rolled...

  • @Swish41m Right the Mavs and Spurs, especially since the Spurs were unbeatable the first 55 games last year, they could be serious contenders with a shortened season but ultimately it depends how the Mavs team looks next year.

  • @scheming95 probably, but if the season its shortened instead of not having one at all would be a big advantage for the mavs since they are an older team, and playing less games will definitely be great for them

  • @Swish41m IMO I think they all stepped up because they thought that was the last year they had a chance at the title though. Only problem with resigning Chandler and JJ is that eams are going to bee after them and they're going to want to go for a bigger contract and a younger contender. If there isn't a season next year it's only going to be tougher for them to repeat.

  • @scheming95 agree, but it wasn't just chandler, almost everyone stepped it up, even though it seemed like it was just dirk against the heat in the first 3 games of the finals, but with the same supporting cast i believe the mavs have a big shot at winning the championship, they should resign JJ barea and chandler for sure

  • @Swish41m True to an extent, maybe with Dirk they can still get pretty far in next years playoffs. BUT they need to keep the exact same deep squad they have now, which nobody sees happening anytime soon. Dirk didn't improve much from last year but the addition of Chandler changed the squad around, you agree right? What would happen if they ran ino a young frontcourt like the Grizzlies in the playoffs next year, maybe disaster for them.

  • @scheming95 yes, but has Dirk ever been athletic? not, he's pure skill, his lack of athleticism affects the way he plays D, but believe me, Dirk is a pretty good defender when it comes to other big men like Gasol, but he struggles when he has to defend younger and more athletic players like Amare

Dirk is pure skill, and even with age he can improve a little more on defense,

Jason kidd is one of best defending PGs and he's 38

  • @Swish41m Seems that way but it's really not, even when Jordan converted to a jump shooter he couldn't keep up his production, efficiency and eventually slowed down on defense considerably. No disrespect to Dirk's defense but Gasol was playing like shit even in the first round averaging only 13.5 PPG. Next season should be interesting though, might not even be the Lakers or Dallas coming out of the west,

  • @scheming95 Dirk played good defense on gasol that's why, He's going to be just as good next year, he doesn't need athleticism

  • It does not mean shit when u get ur ass swept & kicked 122-86!!! The Lakers & the Celtics have the most rings & will 100 years from now (even if Boston & LA never win again) but its not about 2007 or past years Its all about today & today says that Dallas is the defending champs & there will be no lifetime acheivment awards for the Lakers. Dallas beat LA so badly that LA needs to give 3-5 rings back & the Lakers may still have more rings then every team not named Boston which is scary!!!

  • @SinaSoh hahaha how many championships do the LAKERS<3 have ?

  • @scheming95 dammit, now i feel like i was being the douche lol, well i guess it was a misunderstanding, but i see what your saying about looking to the future,i really wish i could picture the mavs winning again next year but i just don't see it happening...

  • @trueblue724 I'm not hating and i'm glad the Mavs won and not the Heat. Kidd and Dirk earned their title and Mavs fan should celebrate it. I always look to the future though even after the Lakers went back to back, that's just me but my bad if you took it in some disrespectful way

  • @scheming95 okay dude look,i do agree with you about the mavericks not winning it next year, even though i'm a huge FAN it just doesn't seem likely, but you have to understand that that is probably what everyone said last year, and they might lose chandler,or they might be able to keep him,who know's,but just don't go bashing the NBA champions for no reason douche, why don't you be a good sport and let our team and our fans enjoy our first champioship ever instead of hating....

  • @trueblue724 Dirk's production is not going to be the same next year don't expect that to happen again anytime soon. Chandler makes the team serious contenders, he's leaving next year for the big bucks to another contender, which any smart player would do now that Kidd and Dirk get a year older. Mavs played a horrible Gasol, not taking anything away from them but they played a shell of what the Lakers were. Gasol will play with a chip on his shoulder next year like after 08' finals.

  • @scheming95 i mean *won*....not one

  • @scheming95 oh and one other thing, can you please explain to me how the mavericks are NOT better then the lakers??? i mean it would be one thing to say that if they one the series in 7 games,or maybe in 6,but we fucking swept them you idiot, and we demolished them the last couple of games, how are they not better??? your just another fucking hater, get over it bitch...

  • @scheming95 you know what, you may be right, but then again,I'm pretty sure that's what you and a lot of other people were thinking last year...

  • @trueblue724 Mavs aren't going to be the champions next year. Bulls, Heat, Thunder and even the Lakers are going to be bigger threats. Mavs have too many problems dealing with FA signings and don't get delusional because they went on one magic journey. They're not better than the Lakers

  • Last time i checked, this is between mavs and warriors, not the lakers and mavs, when mavs won the championship this year everyone put down the lakers, what if ... WHAT IF 2012 lakers win? What would you all say now? Just a thought

  • golden state for the 2012 championship!! ...if there is a season...

  • Why is everyone talking about the Lakers on a Warriors highlight video? :/
