quick skin info:
I have combination/dry/sensitive skin. It's oily in my t-zone (forehead, & nose), then dry around my mouth & in my cheeks, & just sensitive everywhere =/ Also, as you can tell, I have an unven skintone (hyperpigmentation), which I am working to improve by using the products in the hyperpigmentation diaries series on my channel.

Products I used in this video:
Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser & Olay Complete SPF 15 Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin.

Just to clear things up:
In this video, I may have been a little confusing about the whole what to use at night, what to use in the morning thing... here's what I was saying. lol. In my night routine video, I used the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Stress Control Scrub. I ONLY use that at night, when I don't wear makeup that day. I do that, because it gives me a chance to exfoliate when I don't necessarily have to cleanse my eye area, because you don't want to exfoliate around your eye area. Now, IF I HAD WORE MAKEUP THAT DAY, I would have used the Purity Cleanser (the one I used in this video) to cleanse my face, because it has a makeup remover in it, allowing it to be more gentle around the eye area & take all the makeup & stuff off, as well as the built in toner to make sure my skin in super duper clean. So, basicaly...if you use the scrub at night, use Purity in the morning. If you use purity that night, use the scrub the next morninig. =]

Also, in case you haven't seen... I havve been using the RX for Brown Skin Exfoliating Serum which has shown SERIOUS results in my skin.. I will MOST DEFINITELY be purchasing the whole starter kit.. I just don't know which one yet. But, of course, you guys will be the first to know! lol.

  • Where did you get your purity made simple from? I heard you say $20 , for that big bottle I was shocked.

  • @thankfulandblessed hey love! i got it from Sephora.. I believe that they only sell that size for that price online though! check it out, & let me know if you found it :)!

  • I work as an RN here in the midwest, one thing I can tell you is you will always have job security this profession is recession proof. there is a shortage of RN's in the united states due to the babyboomer age nurses retiring.Once you get that RN behind your name your work options or unlimted. you can work any where.I do pediatric homehealth.

  • @thankfulandblessed that's what my aunts told me.. because nursing runs in my family lol. thank you so much for the help & info.. i'll be sure to get at you for some more questions when i get the chance! :)

  • I have sensitive skin also. And I used to suffer from hyper-pigmentation, especially on my forehead. What I did was use Clean & Clear facial wash, St Ives scrub and the BEST thing EVER to me; Pure Vitamin E Oil at the highest potency which is 70,000 I think. My skin is pretty much perfect now, I get compliments everyday. Maybe you could work that into your routine because it just does the skin WONDERS. I highly recommend it.

  • @kweencessX thanks so much for the advice! i had some vitamin E oil from Target but I head the one from Whole Foods was like.. th BEST one. lol. where did you get yours from? & I admit.. I did see a dramatic change in my face while using it. Though I'm pretty sure it was less potency.. Gotta pick that up this weekend! haha :)

  • Do you use sunscreen as well> Thats also very important.

  • Exfoliating soap once a week be cause i tried to use it only n the morning and after the third day my face was "tight" if thats how u explain it and it lasted for 2 weeks.

  • Maybe you could consider care from the inside out.

Distilled water, healthy food 70% vegetables and fruit daily, natural skin care products like jojoba and almond oils...I think you have very allergic skin. I had that to. My new diet also helped me to loose 10 kilo'rs in 2 months. Know i am 5 years later.

Rubbing on only helps from the outside, i know what i am talking about.

If you are really r interested email me!!

  • your skin has improved from earlier big videos big time! i noticed it the first second and thought you were wearing makeup until you showed your routine

  • I'm currently doing videos on hyperpigmentation!!

    TUNE IN

  • I'm from the UK so I purchased mine from Holland&Barrets, I don't know if you have that in the US. I have bought some on eBay too, and if you choose to just make sure it says pure/natural. It's great for the skin, especially the face. If you noticed a difference with one of less potency just imagine what the highest potency could achieve. I love it. I really hope it works for you. And you are welcome, take care.
