ABOUT THE SONG
"Summer of '69" was co-written by Bryan Adams and drummer Jim Vallance on January 25, 1984 during the recording sessions of "Reckless", the fourth studio album of Bryan Adams.
The song, produced by Bob Clearmountain and Bryan Adams, was recorded at Little Mountain Sound, in Vancouver (Canada). It was released in 7" single format on June 1985 and it reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and 40 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
After its first appearance on "Reckless", "Summer of '69" has been included on every compilation albums by Adams.
The bassists credited at the album are Dave Taylor and Jim Vallance.

Hi... Thanks a lot for your nice comment. Of course, there is not a "real" way to play a song.
In more recent videos, I'm starting to use the title "Bass Line" instead of "Bass Cover", since it is commonly accepted that a cover should be a more precise copy of a particular version or recording of the song.
Said that, this video should not be considered as a "cover"; it is just a very simple bass line for this song.
