Plus olyoxenfree you say that you adopt the accent after learning the language. I lived in new Zealand for 7 years from birth and got the full blown kiwi accent. Yet i then live in singapore for 3 years and then get and Australian accent. I got a different accent , but from the same language. Is this what you mean? Kinda?
