I was once a naive kid. If no one was watching they wouldn't even go out there. Its not really worth it.

Thanks for sharing. No, not smart. We lost a surfer yesterday during Irene's gusty winds passing Florida. However this is a surfer's dream. They don't see waves like this very often on the East coast.
