Official: Calif. Gunman Was Loner, 'gamer'

Southern California authorities have released 9-1-1 recordings of calls during Tuesday's shooting spree that left four people dead, including the shooter. Police say the gunman was a loner who spent much of his time playing video games. (Feb. 20)

Haha yeah. Just pisses me off because LOADS of people sit alone to themselves or play games a lot, but they don't do anything like what this person did. The media then think this combination causes this type of behavior... well it doesn't.

Absolutely right! The media and even some testimonials by so-called experts are misleading the public into believing they should be suspicious of every person who seems to spend most of their time by themselves. I'm not a gamer, and I'm actually a very sociable person. Unfortunately, my current living and work habits make me appear as a loner. Every time I see one of these reports that highlight this, I cringe as I know more and more that my neighbors are becoming increasingly paranoid of me. :D
